phooey Zverev gets the mb back and it's 5-5 cry.gif

and another Chris now down a set point at 5-6*

first set gone 67(5). A real shame that. hopefully Chris takes heart from the fact that he's kept with Zverev all set and doesn't dwell on that lost mb.

Eaton did better than I expected him to against Zverev to be honest.

The May grass court magic seems to be a bit off today - he lost the 1st set to Warburg 6-3, now *1-1 (May serving) in the 2nd.

Lee Childs, playing Cervenak for whom this is the first-ever grass court tournament, looked to have the best chance, and the match is going right to the wire. He took the 1st set 6-3, lost the 2nd 4-6 and is now serving at *5-6 in the decider. Come on Lee!!

6-6* - no tiebreak in the 3rd, I don't think.

Jim gets broken in the 2nd. Sad, but I know that a month ago we wouldn't even have believed he'd be here.

Lee now 7-7* in the final set, don't let it slip now!

Jim had a point to break back, but to no avail.

The closest game for a while in Lee's match, but he holds on for 8-8.

8-8, 30-30 on Cervenak's serve and down comes the rain!
