woohoo...viva le Slabba !!!!! Duclos is the 4th seed, ranked over 400 places higher, has made a futures final and several semis, won a match on dung in Dec......and Slabba beat him 3 and 4 !
Slabba for SW19 !!
but before that...it's Alex Miotto up next in rd2, great chance for Slabba to make quarters here....Miotto won their last encounter in 3 sets in March, time for some revenge methinks !

Great result for Slabba, which seems to have come from nowhere, but hopefully will be the won he needs to kick on this season. At least we are guarenteed a QFinalist here, and it should be a decent match between Slabba and Miotto, but I don't see much hope in the other matches unless someone has a stunning day
Great stuff from Slabba, coming through a tough one there.....he really needs to cut down on these dips in level though...he seems to have these concentration lapses....should have polished Miotto off in 2
Decent chance to make the semis now....Durek in the quarters of a 15K is a pretty good draw...lets hope he can capitalise
R2: (Q) Edward Allinson WR 1500 lost to (3) Riccardo Ghedin (ITA) WR 530 by 6-3 7-6(1) R2: (Q) Elliot Wronski UNR lost to (6) Colin Ebelthite (AUS) WR 553 by 4 & 3 R2: (Q) Max Jones UNR lost to (7) Raphael Durek (AUS) WR 621 by 4 & 4 R2: Alex Slabinsky WR 908 beat Alex Miotto WR 928 by 6-3 1-6 7-5 R2: (Q) Simon Childs WR 1286 lost to Alexander Sadecky (SUI) WR 826 by 5 & 2
QF: Alex Slabinsky WR 908 v (7) Raphael Durek (AUS) WR 621
Who'd have thought that with Brits in so many tournaments this week, it would be 'Slabba or bust' by the end of Wednesday!

What a win !!! The Slabba is on fire this week, great to see him pulling through several close matches, will give him loads of confidence and should see a charge back up the rankings
It's probably Conor Niland in the semis (not sure)....winnable match I think
