Who's going to Wimbledon?

Who is going to be heading to the All England Club in a couple of weeks to watch the odd hitabout? What day will you be going? Have you got show-court tickets or are you slumming it with the proles and queueing for a ground pass?

I'm pretty certain that I'm going to go in on the Monday. I'm going to Glatonbury and my sister is working on Monday so she's driving us back straight after the last band. We'll probably be in New Malden around 03:00 so I might have a brief nap and get a lift/bus down the road to the AALT'n'CC. I'll probably get there around 04:00 so I daresay I'll be the first person in the whole queue who is only after a ground pass.

I might go up on the middle Saturday as well if the forecast is favourable.

I shall be wearing a britishtennis.net t-shirt if anyone wants to keep a look-out.

I'm there Monday (Centre Court), Thursday if we can get ground passes - the bus doesn't get to Victoria until 6.20 am so that might be cutting it a bit fine - and Friday (Court 1)

So if you see an elderly short overweight female with a bt.net t-shirt, it's me!

am extremely luck to have been offered what i think are hospitality tickets for 2nd monday, on court 1! just hope that lunch doesn't intrude into the tennis!!

tho its not as much fun as camping!

First Tuesday, Court 1, though I'll probably spend much of the time looking out for GB matches on the outside courts given that it's that early in the tournament.

yeah nature of my work basically mean investment banks try to schmooze me a bit. been to various sporting events before but been waiting for those elusive wimbledon tickets until now! just as long as can watch all the tennis then is all good!
