That's real disappointing for Aucks and Phillips, just didn't take their chances in set 2, looks like they had bps in almost every game and couldn't take them. If they'd taken some of those would have been a different story. However, full credit to Lipsky and Martin for playing the big ones so well. Still a really good performance from Aucks and Phillips, scratch pairing and they nearly beat one of the on-form pairs in the world atm. Hopefully they can build from this and get a better draw in Washington, then rack up the pts in some challengers during the two masters series

Hmm... B&S still have to face Lipsky & Martin, who will be no pushover, & then (assuming they pull it off) JM del Potro & Travis Parrott. The latter, despite getting into the draw as alternates & having a walkover over Johansson & Kiefer in the first round, have just seen off Melo & Sa (6-7(5) 7-6(5) [10-6]), who in turn had disposed of the fourth seeds (Kerr & Thomas) in straight sets in the first round & were looking dangerous...

B & S will have their work cut out but still have the game to progress...just hope they can keep up their form !
