A-Bog v A-Rod

Boggo is making zero impact on Duckboy's serve at all just now. It's going to be tough - I guess we just need to hope that A-Rod flings a couple of double faults or something in at one point.

he'll have to wait till the final for that biggrin

Nah, Nadal won't get there. Boggo will probably face Djokovic or Karlovic in the final.

Now would be a good time to break.

0-40.

Roddick is taking this very seriously now with some shouting and muttering down the court.

Roddick breaks to love after a really poor game from Alex. Dammit. Just can't see Boggo breaking back.

Rod fist pumped Boggo when he was on the floor, very gentlemen like

Alex has to break to stay in the match.

GSM Roddick.

Good effort, Alex. Absolutely nothing to be criticised for in that match. One loose game, but other than that he was flawless. Has to be really impressed with how he played today - some stunning shots and kept his head really well in that match.

ultimately a bit disappointing but boggo can be pleased the way he matched one of the world's best grass court players for 2+ sets

Oh, so close!  crycrycry

Ah well.  He fought to the end, Roddick has just praised him highly, Lloyd and Castle too.

Boggo for Nottingham!

It's just a shame that he didn't get more of a chance on Roddick's serve in the last two sets.

Massive Respect from Roddick in the interview: "Wasn't expecting that ......Alex has been around for a couple of years.... he's working with Peter Lundgren now.....The difference is night and day....great news for British fans"

Decent display from Boggo, thought that the point at 5-5 in the breaker was key.

Alex just got a little tentative on some key points, but overall played very solid.

There arent many people in the nottingham draw that would have beaten him today.
