Monday:
Josh Goodall: Like the rest of the Brits, Josh is surrounded by people playing this week (such a strange thing for tennis players to be doing ) and, like Richard he's probably going to suffer from being unable to pick up anymore points. Minar, Vagnozzi, Tourte, Stadler and Dorsch are all breathing down his neck. One bright spark in the midst of this is that Minar is defending so Josh gains a place in the running rankings to 222.

Jamie Baker: Jamie provides us with the success story of the day. (I still can't get over how marvelously he did to come back from 36 35 down ) Like Boggo he was defending 5 points from his rd1 loss last year and like Boggo he has increased his total by 5 points. However, unlike Boggo this has made a huge difference to his running rank, 10 places in fact! He's currently sitting pretty at 238. A win over Boggo on Wednesday would gain Jamie another 11 places to 227 and allow him to join the group breathing down Goodall's neck. (He'd need to beat Roddick to actually overtake but still!) Whilst there are others playing around Jamie, it's not nearly as many as for the other boys.

Alan Mackin: Has gained 3 places this week, to put him at a running rank of 256 currently.

Jonny Marray: Has gained 4 places this week due to poorly defended points by others. He has a running rank of 258. Both Alan and Jonny are under threat from quite a few players but Chen is the only one able to overtake with a single win, at the moment.


Tuesday:
Josh Goodall Josh lost places today to Vagnozzi and Stadler, leaving him at a running rank of 224 Crivoi, Tourte, Rosol and Golubev are next in line to overtake(only one win each away from doing so). But it's not all bad news as both Dorsch and Minar lost and so can no longer overtake our boy.

Jamie Baker Jamie didn't have the best of days either with him losing 3 places to Golubev, Istomin and Recouderc. He now stands at 241 in the running rankings. A win tomorrow against Alex would now take him to a provisional 228 in the rankings. If Baker manages to do so and then goes on to be Roddick he'd be sitting pretty at 202 in the running rankings. If he loses against Alex he only has a few people to worry about, Sirianni being the only one within a win of overtaking at the moment.

Alan Mackin nothing has changed since yesterday.

Jonny Marray same for him, except to say that Chen failed to overtake. Next on the hit list is Trujillo-Soler who is one win away from overtaking both Jonny and Alan.

Fornell's match was rained off so he can still overtake Josh(one match).

Ledoviskikh can now get Baker (one match) and Josh (two matches).

Ungur can also overtake Jonny and Alan (one match) and Jamie (two matches).

And then there's Capkovic...who I have no idea about but can only overtake Jonny (and maybe Alan) I think, Rob please correct me if I'm wrong about that.
