Here's the commentary from her "Brits Rankings" thread:
Monday: Alex Bogdanovic: Alex has now successfully defended his 5 points from last year and increased his total by adding another 5 He is sitting at a running rank of 114 at the moment. A win against Baker on Wednesday could take Alex as high as 107 but there are others playing around him so it could be 112.
Tuesday: Alex Bogdanovic A couple of loses by Udomchoke and Roger-Vasselin mean the Alex will advance to at least 110 if he beats Baker tomorrow. If he loses the picture turns bleak again with Dancevic and Tsonga only a win away from overtaking for starters and plenty more eager to take places from him. So...he'll just have beat Baker and Roddick then . Incidently, to break the top100 (in the running ranks at least) all Alex has to do is get past Roddick, manage that and he'd be at a running rank of 99. not much to ask is it!
Alex, of course plays Jamie B today Dancevic plays Tursunov Tsonga plays Hewitt
thought he was guaranteed a new high but it appears not, especially with tsonga going like a train vs hewitt! both players at lugano are into their first round matches, luzzi at set point and kim a set down. seems to be a rain delay or something!
wow tsonga wins 7-6 7-6, should have put a bet on, had a feeling that may occur with tsonga having so much match practice, whislt hewitt was used to the clay!
Pavel is making good use of his lucky loser spot in Halle(how many points does he get Rob?!) and is within a win of overtaking Boggo. I think we have to face the fact that Tsonga's going to overtake, probably this week and throughly deservedly. After those two it's just challenger players threatening and none are within a win anymore following Boggo's progression to the third round.
So, all pin sticking attention to Roddick today please!!
