Hey guys, I'm thinking of going to see some tennis this weekend but not sure what to go for. Obviously will have to be either Surbiton finals or Queens qualies. A few questions I have though:
Which day is the Surbiton final? If it's on the Saturday then which day do Queen's qualies start? Is that Sunday so I could go to both? Are the men's and women's finals at Surbiton both played on same day? What about doubles? I may only be interested in Surbiton if there are Brits in the final. Will I be able to buy tickets on the day? If not, will they be sold out by Friday when I will know if there are Brits in final? Is it usually full? Is Queen's qualies free to go to?
Think that's about it. Quite a lot there lol but if anyone can help out I'd be most grateful

Surbiton mens final is on Sunday, womens final and mens semis are on Saturday, doubles finals are on the Saturday but there are also some exhibition matches on the Sunday - I think they had Murray-Ancic in 2005, Surbiton should be able to give you some info on that
Queens qualies start on Saturday, they're free to go to. You get to see 2 rounds of qualies on the Saturday plus the top players practising....likes of Henman, Roddick, Ljubicic, Hewitt etc....because there's not many spectators, they're easily approachable if you're after autographs, pics
Surbiton usually gets quite a few spectators for finals days but certaintly won't be full...you'll be able to turn up on the day and get in
Personally I'd go to Queens qualies if I had the choice, as there's more matches to see....plus I'd get to see more Brits...however I can imagine that if the doubles final is Murray/Booty v Roddick/Ginepri it'd be a tough decision !
Thanks for that Sheddie. Think I will wait and see who is in the finals at Surbiton before deciding. Anyone off this board going to either?

i should be going to see some. depends on boggo really, if he is in the final of surbs i will almost definalty go. if he is in the semis then it will be a toss up between there and queens. of course my preference is to watch alex, but there will be a lot more tennis at queens on saturday and i should get to watch alex play queens MD anyway.

Steven will also be at Queens qualies but in heavy disguise after all those limericks and re-christening Emily as Webley-wobbly
So if you see a rather suspicious character with a low brimmed cap, dark shades and what looks like very recently dyed hair, lurking around, it'll be either him or the local hoodie

I'm at Queen's on Monday and Tuesday (anyone else going then?) but not at qualies, though I would be if I wasn't going on the other days.

Hey, I called her Emily Wobbly-Smith, and the joke wasn't aimed at her, poor girl, it was aimed at you!
