I think I would have given it to Josh....last year he qualified for two Grand Slams and that should have been rewarded....good luck to Baker, but I thought Josh would get one, but what do I know?
I wonder what will happen to Jim May now....he has not played much at all, he is in his mid 20s, but had a great week....hopefully he will continue, but I can't see him getting a WC to somewhere like Queens no matter how great his week was.
May's future lies in doubles tbh, he and Bamford won several futures and qualified for Wimbledon last year. He's top 250 atm, made big strides over past year
not even a qualies wc for him ? Problem is, who else is there to give them to ?

Quite a trek for me so I think I'll just go on the Saturday. Not much point in making the journey if I'm only going to see 2 matches, and I daresy they won't both involve Brits.

You don't seem to like Jamie very much Jack. I'm delighted Jamie has this wildcard. Hopefully he'll get a decent draw.
I do understand i have been abit harsh on jamie but that is only because I feel he has been a disappointment over the last 2-3 months because he has just not met expectations after them few good weeks he had in america. I travelled quite a distance to watch jamie in the final at sunderland earlier this year and was extremely pleased when he took the title but it left me thinking Jamie has what i would call a "tidy" game however i think we would all agree that to get into the top 100 you need to have something very special and that made me think does jamie hace this to make it top 100 or has he only got the game to be a top 200 player which is still very good. Take for instance Tim Henmans opponent at Roland garros, gulbis who is only just ranked in the top 100 yet he played a very good match and looked alot better than number 90 in the world so it just shows how high the standard is. Nethertheless putting my doubts about Jamie beside me i would love to be proved wrong and i wish him the best of luck at queens even though i believe goodall should have got it.

We have 5 all brit QR1 ties.
Poor David Rice...gets Arthurs, Cox gets Childs and Evans gets Ward ! Could have been kinder to the young lads !!
Slabba !!! Didn't expect to see him in the draw here !!! Quality stuff tho, lets hope he can get some wins...
That scoreboard just has to show court 5 tomorrow or Queens will be inundated with emails from me !
Count, John....try and check out Slabba's match, that'd be quality !
Some interesting matches....shame that Goodall has drawn Tsonga but on grass it's one which could go either way. If Josh can come through he'll be really odds on to qualify
Cox v Childs will be intriguing....Childs has had some close matches against Evo in the past....Dan has a great forehand but I think on a fast court, Lee's bigger serve will tell
Delgado has a great record against Queens, qualified several times and beaten the likes of Taylor Dent, Gael Monfils etc in main draw. I think he'll take May and Kuznetsov and although Muller has had lots of success on grass, his form has been a bit iffy lately so maybe a chance there.
Marray has the best chance if he finds some form over the weekend, ok he's got Arthurs in rd2 but Arthurs is 36 now and although the serve is still formidable on grass it isn't as ferocious as it once was. Arthurs has also played just 3 matches since Jan, losing all of them.
Evans-Ward will also be really interesting....Ward is very, very solid from the back, Evans probably has greater flair...could go either way
