yeah, that could be problematic...but you never know
It has been a good day for the Brits, hopefully Tim joins the club tomorrow (in singles and doubles) and Boggo and Aucks get through with honourary brits Safin and Ginepri

Heard the doubles entry was a complete shambles. The Tournament Director wouldnt give any input into who was going to get the WC's so Auckland had to split with Huss to make sure they both got in, which allowed Hutchins & Delgado to play together. As it turns out, it seems that Auckland & Huss would've got a WC ahead of Safin/Boggo but as know one knew they had to do what they had to get in the draw. Then the ATP screwed up the entry list & knocked Huss & Gimelstob out of the draw due to a clerical error?! At least there's 6 Brits in the draw...when was the last time that happened?

He was practicing hard on Saturday. Yes I was able to make it there too!
I will add my blog when I have my pictures sorted. I have insight on May vs Kuznetsov and Slabba vs Melo as I saw pretty much all of both matches!
Gimelstob was practicing with Tripp Phillips and ?? Fisher who face Booty and stretch in R2. They can't be very good though! Gimelstob was beating them on his own!
My photos from queens day 1. Jamie got the lions share, but also got some of boggo, Lee, Bennetau, Seppi and Gucci. (they have kinda come out in reverse order??)

It's Ashley Fisher! If they're not very good, how come they're the 7th seeds & Booty & Stretch aren't seeded?
Fantastic wins for Boggo and Baker, I'm really thrilled about that...Baker getting his 1st ATP win and Boggo beating the world no 42 who's made Queens semis in the past !!! and we have a Brit guaranteed in rd3, not sure who to root for...
Shame about Bloomers but was a tough draw, his coach Pete Russell thinks this is a big year for him if he's going to make it. It was not a good day for me, said Bloomfield. I found the grass very slow and difficult, he was too solid and I was a little bit out of sorts.
Things did not look good for Baker as he trailed by a set and 5-4 but the Glaswegian is a resolute character and seemed repeatedly to refer to a message written in black ink on his left hand.
It was nearly over, but I hung in there and gave myself a chance to use my weapons, said the player who made his Davis Cup debut in last Septembers win over the Ukraine in Odessa.
When I sort of first started working with my coach at the age of 13, the first thing he made me do was write down a vision statement of how I envisioned my game shaping out.
I really tried to focus on that and that alone, not the external factors to do with winning and losing. The umpire keeps the score, but really that has nothing to do with me. The stuff written on the hand is all to do with that.
Bogdanovic is well aware that a good run in this tournament could propel him close to the worlds top 100 for the first time and after good shows in recent Challenger tournaments he was determined to maximise this opportunity.
Working with the Lawn Tennis Associations experienced coach Peter Lundgren has helped the 23-year-old to deal with the anxieties he often feels on big occasions and he maintained: We've come a long way.
Peter is trying to get me to just stay aggressive out there, play one point at a time, not worry what's happened before or what's going to happen ahead. I'm definitely a better player than I was last year. I have improved a lot.
