Overnight, Sweeting won and overtakes Jamie, Alan and Jonny furious.gifChen is knocked out of Busan, so doesn't overtake the three. smile.gif  Unfortunately, his conqueror was Evans, who shoots up onto the table and overtakes Jonny furious.gif Jamie down to 249, Alan to 253, Jonny to 258furious.gif

Satchko is also knocked out smile.gif  so Jamie and Alan's losses are limited for now.

Smeets is a set down to Wang.

No change during Friday: No news from Italy F16. 

One mistake spotted though: Stadler wasn't in the QF in Karlsruhe - he'd been knocked out by Lacko in R2, so Josh wasn't threatened.

Over to Bethan to see who's still a threat to whom.

Schwank reaches the Italy F16 final and advances to within a win of overtaking Jonnie!hmm.gif

Sweeting was knocked out in Carson smile.gif

Evans is playing Wang in the semis in Busan. If he wins, he overtakes Jamie and Alan cry.gif  He's at 5-5 in the second, having lost the first set smile.gif

Young could overtake Jonnie Alan and Jamie if he wins the title in Carson: he plays Bogomolov in the semi tonight.

Vacek couls also overtake all three if he were to win the Busan title. He plays Soeda in his semi this morning.

Josh ends the week up 4 at 221 smile.gif
Jamie ends the week up 5 at 249 smile.gif
Alan ends the week up 5 at 253 smile.gif
Jonny ends teh week up 1 at 258 smile.gif

- they'll need to get points next week to hold onto those gains though - as no- one is defending anything in week 23 (they all came off last week), but loads of players are playing.
