RE: Tim's Live Ranking During Week 22-23 (Roland Garros)

The Updated Table is posted here (on britishtennis.net)

Tim stays at 54 as Garcia- Lopez and Serra are knocked out. smile.gif

However,Hernandez advances to just 1 point behind, joining Vliegen, Monfils and Tipsarevic just a win behind him hmm.gif

Dammit, we need Tipsarevic to beat Robredo for Andy's sake.

Could we possibly arrange for them both to collide and damage each other, not too badly, but enough to withdraw giving their next opponents a walkover?

Yes, I know I am evil!biggrin

Madeline, that sounds like an excellent plan. we can certainly try to make it come true evileye.gif

What if...

...Tim were to lose in round 1?
He has 620 points. He has been overtaken by:
Simon, Starace,
He could be overtaken by:
Herandez(rd3), Monfils(rd3), Vliegen(rd3), Tipsarevic(rd3).
Llodra(rd4).
Andreev(qf), Patience(qf), Hajek(qf), Brzezicki(qf), Roger-Vasselin(qf).
So it's looking better than it was.
Best case: 55
Worst case: 63

An important day today as Tim could lose 4 threats or 4 places. get those pins working!

It's no longer Jonas "Can't play singles on Clay" Bjorkman but rather Jonas "us oldies have to help each other out, plus Madeline left my opponent looking like a pin cushion" Bjorkman. You see the difference? wink.gif

Andreev just reached the fourth round though cry.gif

And Patience is more than holding his own against Djokovic.

Andreev advances to just 30 points behind Tim hmm.gif He'd get 200 points if he beat Nole Djokocic on Wednesday cry.gif

- time to cheer for Nole!

The good news is that no one is able to overtake Tim from winning a challenger someplace as no one close enough has entered. smile.gif

Meaning 56 is the absolute worst case for Tim.

I've made a mistake (of the good kind), I hadn't realised that Benneteau drops below Tim in the rankings so he is actually sitting at 54 right now and his worst case is 55 if Andreev wins today. (go Djokovic!!)
