Only Evans and Rice make the main draw list.

Cox and Dyce currently 1 and 3 in qualies.

Pauffley and Milton are 14 and 18th ALT for qualies comp.

Graeme Dyce( if needed)
Neil Pauffley
josh Milton
Marcus Willis
Sean Thornley
George Coupland
Tim Hewitt(if not injured)

the reserves are: Mathew James, Dan smethurst.
Nothing too strange about the Wc's
All of them Brits!!

Cox will almost surely not need one. Luncanu and Konecny have withdrawn from Wimbledon, and that makes their withdrawal from this almost certain.

Coupland won the Sunday Telegraph U18 grand prix last year I think, beat Lewis Barnes in the final...has quite a big game

Yes, he did. But that's hardly a reason to get a wild card ahead of Matt James or Smethurst. James appeared out of nowhere to take that G3 title and Smethurst has a G5 title along with giving Oudsema a good match.

Plus James and Smethurst are a year younger.



But it won't matter as probably all three will get to play.

Something fishy going on....


Dyce is supposed to get a direct entry because the person below him (Eugen Brazdil) is in. But instead of that, Dyce has been put down as a wild card and Brazdil has a direct entry.


This is exactly what happened with Naomi in Surbiton. doh.gif

I mailed them and they said that it had been a typing error. It was nice of them to mail back - most British tournament directors don't bother.


Dyce is a direct entrant now and so Smethurst should be getting the wild card. smile.gif

I've got absolutely no idea about where in the LTA site this is from, but then I'm not not one tenth as good as tobi on WTAW when it comes to finding out draws.
