Stretch and Aucks' Live Rankings week 21 (Portschach)

The Updated table is posted here (on britishtennis.net)

Neither Bootie nor Stretch advance after winning yesterday: Jamie gets 5 more points on his total.

Ahead of the boys, Wassen, Coetzee and Phillips are knocked outsmile.gif. Number 1 target, Garcia advances to be more than one game away from Jamie hmm.gif

Behind, Huss is also knocked out (should have played with Aucks!) as is Haggard.

Playing today, Pala can go to one point behind Bootie if he and Cermak can beat the Poles.

What if.......

Jamie starts the week at 41. Eric at 43.

If Stretch and Booty win Portschach, Stretch would be on 1356 points, and Bootie on 1307.

Jamie would definitely overtake Wassen, Phillips, Skoch, Marach, Coetzee and Prieto. He could overtake Thomas (if he goes out before the semi- final), Garcia (out before final). He could be overtaken by nobody.

Best case 33.  Worst case 35.

Eric would definitely overtake Wassen, Phillips, Skoch, Marach, Coetzee, Prieto and Kohlmann. He could overtake Garcia (out before sf). He could be overtaken by nobody.

Best case 36. worst case 37.

If Stretch and Booty reach the final, Stretch would be on 1301 points, and Bootie on 1252.

Jamie would definitely overtake Wassen, Phillips, Skoch, Marach, Coetzee and Prieto. He could overtake, Garcia (out before final). He could be overtaken by nobody.

Best case 34.  Worst case 35.

Eric would definitely overtake Marach, Coetzee, Prieto and Kohlmann. He could be overtaken by nobody.

Best case 37. worst case 37.

If Stretch and Booty reach the Semis, Stretch would be on 1256 points, and Bootie on 1207.

Jamie would overtake definitely overtake Marach, Coetzee and Prieto.  He could be overtaken by Pala (if he wins the tournament).

Best case 37.  Worst case 38.

Eric would definitely overtake Kohlmann. He could be overtaken by Pala (if he reaches the final).

Best case 42. worst case 42.

If Stretch and Booty lose in the Quarters, Stretch would be on 1221 points, and Bootie on 1172.

Jamie would overtake nobody.  He could be overtaken by Pala (reaches final), Friedl (wins tournament).

Best case 41.  Worst case 42 (Friedl & Pala would meet in the semis).

Eric would overtake nobody. He could be overtaken by Pala (reaches semis), Friedl (reaches final) Kerr (wins tournament) and Peya (wins tournament).

Best case 43. worst case 46.

Aucks cannot be overtaken this week: he ends the week at 57.

Jamie can be overtaken by Friedl  if he wins the tournament.

Best case 41.  Worst case 42

Eric can be overtaken by Friedl (reaches final) and  Kerr (wins tournament).

Best case 43. worst case 45.

Amer Delic had a Sinus infection (mysteriously just after his playing partner Roddick got knocked out of the singles), so Friedl and Skoch picked up a walkover to get to the final.

That means that Friedl  advances past Eric furious.gifBootiedrops to 44 furious.gif

Kerr's match will be completed tomorrow.

Jamie can be overtaken by Friedl  if he wins the tournament.

Best case 41.  Worst case 42

Eric can be overtaken by Kerr (wins tournament).

Best case 44. worst case 45.

(1)Simon Aspelin/Julian Knowle (SWE/AUT) d. Martin Garcia/Jordan Kerr (ARG/AUS) 6-4 3-6 (10-6)

Leos Friedl/David Skoch (CZE) d. Amer Delic/Andy Roddick (USA) w/o

So Kerr is out and Friedl is in the final

As Johnny says, Kerr and Garcia are knocked out.

....which means that Bootie is safe at 44.

Jamie can be overtaken by Friedl  if he and Skoch can beat Aspelin and Knowlw tomorrow.

Best case 41.  Worst case 42

Friedl and Skoch lost the final, so
Friedl doesn't overrtake Jamie.

Stretch ends the week at 41 smile.gif
