To be honest, I didn't expect this win, as Schukin is a clay court specialist, and had just won a challenger on the clay, but it obviously shows that Boggo can play on the surface
Gil next won't be an easy match though, as Gil is another pretty good clay courter, and he is on the way up as well... but if he plays like he did in the second set, he has a chance at getting the upset
With Murray and Haas out, it means there are two LL spots, so if he does beat Gil, he would have a 50% chance of making the main draw anyway, even if he lost his last round match (it depends on what happens with the players seeded above him, but some of them are shoe-ins to qualify)
