Surbiton Trophy 2007.

Philippoussis is out. w00t.gif

Hopefully it's not serious. Just enough to keep him out of action for the next three weeks.

Very strong entry list there, and it is going to be a hell of a tournament with most of the players having a chance to take the title

Phillipoussis on the entry list probably means he is going to be back for Wimbledon then, and is likely to take a wild card (although his results over the last year indicate he would be top 100 if he was fit)

WC's to the Main Draw would go to Marray, Baker, Goodall and Kasiri/Rushby/Flanagan (whoever does best of the next week or so)

The other 2 should go to qualifying, along with Lee Childs, Irwin and any of the juniors who aren't playing RG (I'd like to see Robert Dee and Mozart given a WC though, just to see what they are actually like)

Is this Mozart?????? http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=114521178

No way Tim would ask for a wildcard imo. He's already said if he feels the need, he'll play both Queens and Nottingham. I think at the point he's desperate enough to ask for a wildcard into Surbiton is the point where he should call it a day.

It'd be nice to see Tigger at Nottingham. Its been ages and he really should get all the grass points he can!

Delic has pulled out. I imagine if Karlovic beats Bjorkman (2-1 up in sets at moment) he will as well meaning Boggo will get a seeding!

Grr... Bj was 4-2 up in the fifth and now there's rain.

If Karlovic somehow manages a win and pulls out, Josh will need just one more withdrawal (and cleared SE spots) for a direct entry. pray.gif

Jonny is still unaware whether or not he has a wc, given how few serious options there are think it's silly, cant imagine what Hutchins is waiting for, there's no one who has done enough to go in ahead of Josh, Jonny or Jamie at this stage, so why not tell them that they'll have one if they need one, and at least they can plan for a tuesday start rather than thinking they're playing on sunday.

If he gives one to one of the sub 400 players ahead of one of those three it will be absolutely shovking, as no-one has deserved one, but I hope that Miles Kasiri gets one of the others if he's fit.
