What's Kasiri like on Grass (I'm getting vague recollections that he won the Queens juniors a couple of years ago - am I getting confused with someone else?)?
If he's good then I think he should get a wildcard, but only into the qualies. I think he needs to have a couple more good weeks first, and pull his ranking up. At the moment he's only just getting back into the top 850 (due to last week's final) and I think that's a bit low to be getting a maindraw place in a challenger, especially with this kind of field. It would be detremental to him to suffer a drubbing in rd1 whereas if he can win a couple of matches in the qualies and then get a rd1 drubbing that would be infinitely more positive.
As for the other three wildcards, I totally agree with those. To refuse any of Goodall, Baker or Marray a wildcard would be mean and nasty.

I think Haase will be a big dark horse in this field.
Kasiri's ok on grass Bethan...hasn't done much really, apart from making the junior Wimbledon final (losing to Monfils) and winning Queens juniors the same year...fairly bogstandard achievements, I know
Well, Fed could find it tough to handle him if he is having a 50 aces day. I think that he's the only one other than Andy who has a chance of beating him on grass.
Of course Karlovic isn't anywhere near Fed! But you don't always need to be more talented to win a match.
David, qualies cut was 722 last year, with six wild cards.
I would give them to -
Ross Hutchins. Dan Smethurst (unless he is having exams like Willis). Neil Pauffley (unless he is having exams like Willis). Iain Atkinson. Sean Thornley. Simon Childs.
Very strong entry list there, and it is going to be a hell of a tournament with most of the players having a chance to take the title
Phillipoussis on the entry list probably means he is going to be back for Wimbledon then, and is likely to take a wild card (although his results over the last year indicate he would be top 100 if he was fit)
WC's to the Main Draw would go to Marray, Baker, Goodall and Kasiri/Rushby/Flanagan (whoever does best of the next week or so)
The other 2 should go to qualifying, along with Lee Childs, Irwin and any of the juniors who aren't playing RG (I'd like to see Robert Dee and Mozart given a WC though, just to see what they are actually like)
I think Mozart gets a lot of unnecessary stick. It's a bit unfair to lump him in with the likes of Rob Dee. Mozart actually picks up the odd win or two and has earnt a few points.
I'm not saying he's any good, but he's not as bad as a lot of people make out. Think he just attracts "attention" because of his unusual name.

Alex Bogdanovic and Richard Bloomfield will head the British challenge for the 2007 Surbiton Trophy.
Alex Bogdanovic and Richard Bloomfield will head the British challenge for the 2007 Surbiton Trophy when the tournament gets under way at Surbiton Tennis and Fitness Club on June 2nd.
British number three Bogdanovic, currently ranked 113 in the ATP world rankings, and Norfolks Bloomfield (188) will not find it easy in an entry which includes six top hundred players plus several who are threatening to break into the top 100 group.
But Bogdanovic is currently in excellent form with a Challenger win under his belt during April when he outsmarted American Zack Fleishman in Valencia with a very impressive display and followed that result with an appearance in the final at Cardiff and a quarter final spot in Lanzarote.
For Bloomfield the year started well reaching the final in Wrexham, a quarter final in Wolfsburg and the final in a British Futures event. He also earned a call-up into the British Davis Cup squad for the tie against Netherlands last month.
Both British players will be looking forward to crossing rackets with the likes of Delic, Querrey and Kendrick, the three Americans currently topping the Surbiton draw, plus Croatian Ivo Karlovic, Russian Igor Kunitsyn and Australian Chris Guccione all of whom are ranked inside the worlds top 100 players.
