Wow! Fabrice Santoro (WR 54) WC and no 1 seed in this $25k Challenger.

San Remo Website

The site will be fully operational by Monday if not before meanwhile refer to the PDF's.
The website is always very good and provides a good daily report and plenty of photos.......so look daily! But doesn't look like having live scoring, although today they did update the qualifying results quickly.

Nah, I like Santoro! Hope he does well. This is a pretty damn strong field but I can't see anyone troubling the magician.

oh my word. Can't believe he lost that one! The Brits should take the whole clay season off next year and just practice hard on the surface at Roehampton until they can actually play on it!

Just noticed that all top four (sub 100) seeds made an early exit, including Santoro, Galvani and DeVilder in round 1 and Llodra in round 2.

its amazing how often that happens. Challenger players are all very good and could beat a lot of top 100 players on their day! They just can't do it as consistently as the top 100 players.
