Anne has an easy rd1, her opponent's ranked outside top 1000. However, looking ahead, things are not particularly promising for her. Either Maria Salerni or Nuria Llagostera Vives will await in rd2. Salerni has been inside the top 100 and Vives has been as high as no 35 !
Amanda has it tough in rd1. She plays Aussie Christina Wheeler in rd1, a former top 150 player on the comeback trail and currently just outside the top 300. Wheeler made a 25K final down under earlier this year so it's a tough one for Amanda.
Amanda will really need to raise her game this week, defending from making the 25K Monzon final last year...however, courts must suit her game
Another bad loss for Mandy and really easiyl aswell. With the final of a 25k comign off soon looks like she'll fall unless she has a great grass season.
