Emily continued her good form from last week outplaying unranked Belarussian qualifier Sasha Khabibulina 6-0, 6-1 and 4th seed Dani Brown overcame a 2nd set hiccup to beat American Julianna Gates 6-4, 0-6, 6-4

Emily now plays American 6th seed Courtney Nagle who's ranked about 60 places higher at 588. Nagle has only won 3 matches so far this year so Emily will be confident of reaching another quarter-final. If she does, she'll be back in the world's top 600.
Dani plays 17 year old Brazilian clay-court specialist Lais Ogata who's ranked 1267. Ogata lost 6-2, 6-0 to an unranked Argentinian last week so Dani shouldn't have too many problems
Disappointing results for both....Emily had the harder match as Nagle is top 600 but given her form last week I thought she'd win plus Nagle had only won 3 matches in 2007 prior to this tourney !
Very poor result for Dani....Ogata has been losing to unranked players recently....wonder what happened in sets 2 and 3, maybe Dani missed multiple chances or got injured
