I wonder if there is a way by which we could contact Robert Dee...

I suppose the only way to get in contact with Dee would be to ask players that you do have contacts with who are playing in the same tournament as Dee to try and get an email address/phone number etc from him if he was up for it.

I've searched the net, and apart from articles slating him and others for recieving wildcards into challenger events there is very little on him. Lol.

Would be really interesting to hear from him, to find out his motives for playing on the pro circuit and what he wants to achieve...

Disagree entirely but hey your the admin.

To have an entry list section is great...but it should be for them all. Futures entry lists are known several weeks in advance just like ATPs and Challengers.

If it is deemed too confusing to have an 'event entry list' thread and a 'discussion' thread then just have the 'discussions' in the entry list thread ? But I thought that was'nt the point of having a new section for entry lists.

The problem which we have is that 2 discussion threads for challengers and futures could cause confusion...splitting the tournament discussion into two separate threads...some ppl will be posting about it in the entry list thread and some will be posting about it in this section. I don't want to have the discussion in the entry list thread as guests and new members might not realise it's in there and go to this section but find no info on that tournament.

How about just using the entry list section for seagull's lists of tournaments for each week ?   Post the actual entry lists in "Andy Murray" or this section. What do you think ?

Either that or we could rename the "entry lists and rankings" section to just "rankings" and just use that for rankings info

biggrin.gif tbh I very much doubt he'd be willing to do an interview...anyway he mainly plays in these Spanish or South American futures and I don't have any contact info for the players who compete in those like Myles Blake.

It would be interesting to find out whether he's aware of the world record for most consecutive defeats and whether he's actually gunning for it.

I do have several photos of Lownsbrough, I'll post them sometime

Rd2: M Blake (GB) v C Avellan (Ecu)(4)

Myles now faces Ecuadorian 4th seed Carlos Avellan who's ranked 437 and dropped just 2 games in his rd1 win. Avellan regularly reaches the latter stages in these South American futures, picking up a title in Venezuala last year.

Of course Bethan, why else would I want to go to Cali wink.gif

Nah johnny, he's still got around 7-8 losses to go to break the world record, having got so close I doubt he's gonna quit at 44 consecutive defeats.

Rd2: Avellan bt Blake 6-3, 6-2
