Here's the R1 draw again, with comparative rankings. All 11 Brits are outranked by at least 250 places. It's one of those weeks when you wish they hadn't all avoided each other in the draw just so that we could get a ranking point out of it!

GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!
Draw doesn't look particularly promising for a number of the Brits
Illingworth did really great to qualify, beating Charroin in qualies whose 800ish is one of his best ever wins especially on clay, most of his best results to date have been indoors. However, Sidorenko is surely a step too far, the guy's only 18, has been top 300 this year and is a former world junior no 3.
Cox may have a good chance, he's beaten opponents ranked higher than that in the past. It's definately one of the better draws. Duclos did reach a futures final in Portugal though earlier this year so he's no slouch ! He's also made two quarters in the UAE recently.
Pellerin hasn't had a particularly good year so far, he's been ranked 350ish but has slipped down quite a bit. Has made a couple of futures quarters but a lot of early losses this year. Miles Kasiri beat him in France. I think Simon would have a chance on a faster surface but his game doesn't really suit clay well.
Unfortunately the Brit with most chance of winning a few rounds here, James Ward, has one of the toughest draws. Recouderc is a clay specialist and won two 10Ks in April.
Irwin got outplayed by Pritchard last week so I don't really rate his chances v Saoudi who's been as high as 212 in the past...serve-volley's not really gonna work well on the slow clay of Bournemouth....Saoudi's been v out of sorts tho recently so who knows
James Feaver did excellent to reach main draw, that's the first time he's qualified for a futures. However, Eric Prodon won a 10K on clay in Italy earlier this year.
Willis will do well to get 4-5 games off De Bakker who's already good enough to give the likes of Ivan Ljubicic a decent match !!!
Rushby faces the "big cat" who's been in the top 250 and would surely still be there with better fitness. Sarstrand qualified for the Dallas challenger and made the semis in Feb (beat Jamie Baker) but he's been unable to replicate that since although he has qualified for 2 more challengers.
Flanagan has a v good chance if the right Flanagan turns up....his opponent hasn't played much this year
Searle also has a decent chance of an upset, Popovic is at his best on fast indoor courts
Btw I have a reporter here today...no live scores unfortunately but I'll get some reports later today
slightly odd wcs...wonder why Hewitt didn't get one ? Surely a wc should have been given to one of the juniors instead of Irwin who's not really gonna make use of it on clay
