dont think he was running out of steam, he had a week break, trnaing at roehamton, these just seemed like close matches, in conditions that dont suit him, alex is a shot maker, when it windy its much harder to do that, as going for the lines gets risky.
If the courts were slow etc all working agaisnt him. but maybe helping him prepare a bit for clay change.

btw i asked boggo about that mackin incident, its was an obivous case of a communication breakdown, he thought we were made saying alan had won cause he had watched him lose biggrin.gif

Tsonga 60 63
Baccanello 61 62

so quite 1 sided semis there, Bacca looks to be playing great. may push tsonga, although there is a possibility Sela wasnt well, which is even more a shame that alex couldnt find a way through.

Tsonga won the finals by 2 and 2.

Believe it or not, Tsonga's head to head against Brits (from all tournaments, men's and Juniors) reads 29-5. omfg.gif

The only ones to have beaten him are Flanagan, Sherwood, Delgado, Andy and Boggo. Andy and Boggo did it in Juniors.

looking at tsonga's semi and final, baker didn't do all that bad to get 5 games! bit of an unlucky draw. now i wish tsonga will stay injury free andl go and make top 100 and leave us all alone!
