As you say Jonny's first week back but more poor stuff from Josh & Jamie who haven't got going this year. Thank goodness for Boggo again, really hope he can get decent points and push up this week.
I understand your comment about Josh, but that is yet more ridiculous statements about the Baker boy. This is probably Jamie's most successful year so far, having had success at challenger level with a semi and a final. He had a horror draw this week, I can guarantee you if he gets a few decent draws in the next few months he will go deep into challengers again. Can't believe you can say it's poor stuff from Jamie and he hasn't got going. Really strange comment.

this was a tough draw for jamie, for me josh it the disspaointing loss, he needs to get his head down and start working, he hasnr won back to back matches since he qualifed for the USO, futures excepted, but if he can qualify for slams he should be ale to progess at challengers.
jonny, well it was always going to be a tough ask. maybe he should play some futures get used to winning in time for gras season. lacking match practice cnt see im doing much on clay.
once again its down to boggo, lets hope he can perform well this week. carry some confidence into the clay season.

Didn't even think that comment warranted a response at first but I'm going to anyway. Not going to even go into reasons why that is so stupid, but let me just say this. I think we're all agreed that Boggo has the game to be top 100. He is very much on the verge of this. He was born in 84, Jamie in 86.
So if we look back at Boggo's results 2 years ago, we see he was ranked about 30-40 places above what Jamie is now, fair enough. Here is 3 weeks of Boggo's results from that year:
25th July Valladoid Challenger 1st rd lost to Andrew Derer WR 542 1st August Segovia Challenger 1st rd lost to Alexander Peya WR 226 8th August Pamplona Challenger 1st rd lost to Mathieu Montcourt WR 229
The only player he took a set off was Derer. I'm sure I could trawl through many many players who have made the top 100 throughout the last 20-30 years and find many examples of players at 20 years old having lost matches to much weaker opposition than Jamie has lost to in the last few weeks. Many of them may not have made challenger semi and final already so early.
Please don't make such silly comments.

Think you're being a bit defensive about Baker. He has had 2 good weeks this year or 3 if you count Sunderland which to be fair we should. However you then have to say he has had some shockers in the other 3 futures, not getting past QF and also gone out in 1st round of a few challengers.
Sure they are tough draws but if he is going to get to Boggo's level which by all accounts he has the potential then he has to do better than 2 & 3. I certainly wasn't slating him but it clearly is disappointing when we are looking for people to back up Boggo's good form.
