I sent an email to Morgan wishing him all the best from britishtennis.net. He replied "Thanks, yeah tomorrow is the big day....hopefully I will be back in action soon !"

It's very, very bad news.....

Morgan's gonna be on crutches now for 6 weeks and won't play tennis again for 3 months. During the op they found a huge hole in his cartilage and that takes ages to heal cause there's no blood supply there. The MRI didn't pick it up...

absolutely gutted for him.

No tennis till August/September must be so frustrating. Watching his mate Andujar crack the top 100 and toher things like that will hopefully inspire him not to give up but focus him even more for his comeback.

Will he be able to get that protected ranking thingy?

He's getting better now and will start to walk very soon.


I'm afraid that it'll be a few months before he starts playing again.
