Boggo's Live Ranking in Week 16 (Cardiff)

The table will be posted soon.

As the week begins, Alex drops two places as his quarter- final points from Cardiff last year come off.  He's down to 134, level on points with Wesley Moodie.

Also dropping places are Gimelstob, Muller, Vicente, Economidis, Norman, Chiudinelli, Philippoussis, Montcourt and Karanusic.

A tournament win this week could take him as high as 114. Players currently ranked down to 158 can overtake him.

It's opening up nicely ahead of Alex: Marach, Luzzi, Gimelstob and Muller have all been knocked out ahead of him smile.gif as has Kubot behind.

Vicente advances in Marrakech.

If Boggo can beat jetlag and Jan Vacek at 8am Californian time this afternoon, then he can overtake Moodie if he loses to Bopanna.

Go Rohan!! (Arka, could you add the Hindi for "come on!" to the list of encouraging phrases?)

Economidis can draw level on points if he beats Troiki in Marrakech and Alex loses. Zib, Norman and Haase also play in Morocco.

Waske plays Vico in Cardiff; Phau plays Zabaleta in Bermuda.

Just seeing this thread, Rob. I'm afraid that Bopanna's native language is Kannada and not Hindi. cry.gif

It's too late in any case.

Boggo wins, but doesnt advance in Cardiff.

Bopanna, without his Kannada encouragement, couldn't beat Moodie, who stays ahead cry.gif

Today, Alex plays Jonny threat Cervenak. If he wins, he'll overtake Muller and Vicente (at least until tomorrow). He could also overtake Moodie if he loses to Meffert in Cardiff.

Marrakech was rained off yesterday:

Economidis can go to 2 points behindif he beats Troiki in Marrakech. Zib, Norman and Haase also play in Morocco.

Phau plays Zabaleta in Bermuda. Waske  plays Baccanello in Cardiff.

Alex defends his points, and moves up to 130 clap.gif

Moodie (playing Meffert in Cardiff) and Phau (playing Zabaleta in Bermuda) are the two threats who could overtake him today.

Economidis was knocked out of Marrakech smile.gif, but Zib and Haase advance, and maintain the pressure hmm.gifNorman plays later, as does Waske in Cardiff.

Moodie overtakes with a 2 and 4 win. Alex should be safe from Phau though, Zabaleta made final in Houston last week and beat Blake...if Phau beats him, I'll sleep in my shed for another 40 nights (thought I'd liven this thread up a little wink.gif)

Waske also won

The shed is safe. Zabaleta knocks out Phau smile.gif

Moodie wins in Cardiff and overtakes cry.gif  Alex down one to 131.

Norman

won in Marrakech; Waske won in Cardiff and goes up off the top of the table.

Alex plays Stadler today. If he wins, he'll advance past Gimelstob, Luzzi and Marach. He can also overtake Moodie if he loses to Wauters in Cardiff and Vanek if he loses to Vicente in Marrakech.

If he loses, he can be overtaken by Vicente, Zib and Haase,  if they beat Vanek, Vassallo Arguello and Troiki in Marrakech. Also in Marrakech, Norman plays Martin, Gil plays Giraldo, Cilic plays Gulbis.
