As the week begins, Alex drops two places as his quarter- final points from Cardiff last year come off. He's down to 134, level on points with Wesley Moodie.
Also dropping places are Gimelstob, Muller, Vicente, Economidis, Norman,Chiudinelli, Philippoussis, Montcourt and Karanusic.
A tournament win this week could take him as high as 114. Players currently ranked down to 158 can overtake him.

Today, Alex plays Jonny threat Cervenak. If he wins, he'll overtake Muller and Vicente (at least until tomorrow). He could also overtake Moodie if he loses to Meffert in Cardiff.

Economidis can go to 2 points behindif he beats Troiki in Marrakech. Zib, Norman and Haase also play in Morocco.
Phau plays Zabaleta in Bermuda. Waske plays Baccanello in Cardiff.
Alex defends his points, and moves up to 130 Moodie (playing Meffert in Cardiff) and Phau (playing Zabaleta in Bermuda) are the two threats who could overtake him today.
Economidis was knocked out of Marrakech , but Zib and Haase advance, and maintain the pressure Normanplays later, as does Waske in Cardiff.
Moodie overtakes with a 2 and 4 win. Alex should be safe from Phau though, Zabaleta made final in Houston last week and beat Blake...if Phau beats him, I'll sleep in my shed for another 40 nights (thought I'd liven this thread up a little )
Moodie wins in Cardiff and overtakes Alex down one to 131. Normanwon in Marrakech; Waske won in Cardiff and goes up off the top of the table.
Alex plays Stadler today. If he wins, he'll advance past Gimelstob, Luzzi and Marach. He can also overtake Moodie if he loses to Wauters in Cardiff and Vanek if he loses to Vicente in Marrakech.
