Nothing. Not like I got banned or anything.

I just don't want to go to Nadal's site. I guess that I am being very childish here.

Lol, it's against Arka's principles to visit Rafa's site...he doesn't believe in worshipping the dark side !

Re this exhibition match: The idea is a good one but in practise there are a number of problems, do they seriously think that Nadal and Federer are going to go all out in this match with the Rome masters starting just a day afterwards !

Just a predominantly money making scheme unfortunately as it can be promoted easily...I'm surprised both players agreed to it !

Is this not just purely a promo event, like they had Andy kick-boxing in Thailand, and they have had Fed and somebody (Rafa? Agassi? can't remember) playing on a helipad, etc?

John makes some very good points in his post on page 1. I think another thing which gives Rafa the edge on clay and Federer the edge on grass is the contrasting ways in which they play the ball. Federer always plays very close to the baseline, he hardly ever retreats more than a few inches behind it, constantly taking the ball early and on the rise. This is a high risk strategy on clay, as the high bounce makes it very easy to mis hit and so your timing has to be spot on. On grass cause it's faster and bounces lower, you can take it early and go for your shots with more margin for error

I don't see how this would be anything but a hugely difficult match to play, the bounce will be vastly different between when you hit the ball and when it bounces on the other side of the net, to remember that in the seconds of time they have will surely be almost impossible. Just for that alone i want to see who wins and who manages to cope!

thinking about it....it's going to really favour whoever is on the clay side as the person on the grass half is going to be struggling to make any headway in the rallies while watching winners fly past them.

Simply because he's the more aggressive player and so will be able to take advantage of this more...I think Federer will win
