Ward vs. Gensse.

If someone said at the start of the year that James Ward would be playing Tour tennis in April, no one would have believed him or her, but here we go...

Gensse is a 23 year old whose best results from the last twelve months have been the appearence at four Futures finals on clay in Tunisia, France and Spain during the months of June and July. But he has struggled since then as he hasn't gone past the quarters of a Futures between last August and now.

Ward has beaten players ranked higher than Gensse's 432 and will have the advantage of home support. I think that we may just see an upset out here.

Winning this match would boost him up about 200 places!

Another win would be roughly another 150 place boost.

Good luck to Ward today, and this is a match that he has a chance of winning, although I wouldn't be too surprised if he did lose.

Either way, the experience should help him develop into a better player

I should be here to do it.

Andjuar looks likely to wrap up his match against Greul in straight sets at the moment, and Ward is on next.

15-20 mins I should imagine.

Now it looks like I'll be here, too.

Andujar beats him by 2 and 4.
