I don't think Andy is going to make the top ten this week; Haas's draw has really opened out, and I will be surprised if he doesn't make the final.

Ah well, better to do it by winning matches than through the back door (I would have happily accepted the back door route, though!)

Well it's not entirely hopeless - Karlovic did defeat Haas on red clay in Munich last year.

But personally I don't see lightning striking in the same place twice.

I don't understand why Haas struggles so much against Karlovic on CLAY. He's now 0-3 in their H2H on clay.

no doubt what the problem is yawn

! However, its good for Ivo because he had a good clay season last year though cant remember which tournies, so reaching the QF's will keep him steady in the top 75.
