Blake did the decent thing: Kuznetsov lost.

Boggo plays the on- form Reynolds today: If he wins, he will overtake Mello and Fraile, and regain the top 150.

He could overtake:
Karanusic if he loses to Josh threat Vagnozzi in Chiasso.
Granollers if he loses to Starace in Valencia, Spain
Garcia if he loses to Gallardo- Valles in Mexico.

So a winning best case of 146 and worst case 149.

If he loses, there's no- one left who can overtake him: he'd stay at 151.

Further ahead, Gil plays Cilic; Zabaleta plays Melzer.

Starace beat Granollers - so if Alex beats Reynolds, worst case is now 148.

Karanusic won. So Alex can't overtake him unless he reaches the final

Best case if he beats Reynolds now 147. Just his own match and Garcia in Mexico to go.

(Karanusic knocked out Vagnozzi, so Josh is safe at 222 for another week.)

Anybody with the same problem, when editing out a post, just put "Edit - please delete" and any mod reading it will tidy up the board.

On the boggo ranking update page is says the point available for this tourney are....... Valencia (US) CH (v) 50 35 22 12 5 0 (2) ..... but on the atp website it says the points available are 55, 38, 24, 13, 5, 0

Sorry if i made a mistake but i jus noticed that and was wondering cause this would affect the provisional rankings that get updated after every win/loss during the week.

they have upgraded the points for pure 50k's now, so they are no longer on a par with a 25k+h
so possibly there could be some changes., although i cant se it being more than 1 or 2 places.

so it certainly looks as though Rob has been using the wrong points for this tournament. He is off sailing atm but I will PM him so he can put it right when he gets back!  It won't make much difference but could put Boggo a little higherbiggrin
