am.com are block booking a whole load so I'll be sitting with them wherever they are....looks like quite a lot of us from here will be going...hopefully we can arrange some sort of a meet-up biggrin.gif

Maybe we should hire Steven to write our chants biggrin.gif It'd be cool to do "Boggo's coming home" if he's in the team biggrin.gif

You're a glutton for punishment! wink A meet-up would be good though.

You really are a glutton for punishment LOL. Can you even remember 'Boggo's coming home', if so that's more than I can!

I remember now, that's the one where I subsituted the 1936 DC team's names for the 1966 World Cup winners' names. I hope that one didn't have any mention of the word 'choking' in it if you sent it to Boggo!

There are SO many reasons why I'm going to have to go to Queen's in disguise LOL

Ah, here we go ... it was all the teams without Boggo that chucked it away (though I hope David didn't include the footnotes I'm leaving out this time!ashamed)

He's coming home
He's coming home
He's coming
Bog-go's coming home... (repeat x 4)

Everyone seems to know the score
They've seen it all before
They just know
They're so sure

That GB's gon-na throw it away
Double fault it away
But I know they can play
'Cause I re-mem-ber...

GB on a shirt
Davis Cup still gleaming
71 years of hurt
Never stopped me dreaming

So many jokes, so many sneers
But all those not-so-nears
Wear you down
Through the years

But I still see that volley by Hughes
And when Perry beat Quist
Tuckey belting the ball
And Bun-ny Dancing

GB on a shirt
Davis Cup still gleaming
71 years of hurt
Never stopped me dreaming

Now I know that was then
But it could be again

Because ...
Bog-go's coming home
He's coming
Bog-go's coming home...

He's coming home
He's coming home
He's coming (fade)

So it appears Mario Ancic has returned as is in reasonable form already. Do you think we can expect to see him playing DC so soon?

Anyone have any news on Ljubicic? Has he decided whether or not to play?

It looks like I'm not gonna be able to make this one unfortunately and with Drew not going either.....is there anyone else who'd be interested in getting press accreditation for the tie and attending the press conferences etc as a journalist for britishtennis.net ?

I watched Ancic in Montreal and he looked rather ropey during a 3 and 2 thrashing at the hands of Mathieu....so many unforced errors and as the serve wasn't too effective on the slow hard he didn't have much else. Impressive win over Haas though in Cincy, so not looking too good for us with another month for him to get back to 100%....plus it's grass

Haven't heard anything on Ljubo though with Croatia having Ancic, Karlovic and Cilic...Henman on his last legs, Murray nowhere near 75% on his forehand and Boggo in the doldrums....doesn't look like it'll matter if Ljubo plays or not, lol
