I'll definately be going for Sat and Sun, guess tickets will sell out really fast...do we know when the box office opens in May ?

However, although it's fantastic news regarding watching the tie for all of us down south, do we think that it's a sensible surface to play Croatia ?

Personally I'm a bit worried that Ljubicic and Ancic are just going to serve us off the court. Remember Henman v Ancic (which could be the decisive rubber) in Wimbledon 2004 when Ancic was virtually unbreakable. Also, we're really going to be relying on Andy to win his two singles matches and grass gives Ljubicic and Ancic a much bigger chance against him with the firepower they have. I would have chosen clay..... however maybe Lloyd's looked at Ljubicic's poor record at Wimbledon and chosen grass for that reason, hoping that Tim can produce one of those memorable grass performances against him on day 1 possibly giving us a 2-0 lead.

thoughts ?

I think Croatia have a problem here. This is going to be Ljubicic's last DC match and he is obviously very popular in Croatia....but he hates playing on grass and his Wimbledon record is rubbish. The obvious replacement is Karlovic but he is not at all popular with the Croatian DC team over previous disputes.

Tough call.

For the last tie, the lady from the Greg Rusedski fan club got me them. However, there were tickets availble for a good few weeks after they went on sale for the Friday and even after that sold out the Saturday and Sunday were available for a couple of months after they went on sale. Obviously, this will be more popular but if you ring up the day they go on sale, I'd be suprised if you didn't get some.

After going twice to Wimbledon this summer I wouldn't dare suggest to my husband that I desert him again for DC. . .

However this link may help those who want to apply for tickets:
