Wimby advice please

I've been allocated a couple of tickets on number 1 court for the second Thursday.
Returns methinks.
Now I enjoy watching most tennis, but it's actually fairly hard to get that time off work.
Is it worth calling in a few favours to watch Juniors and Seniors matches, or should I let this go by.
I'd appreciate any thoughts you might have, I'm really in two minds.

My daughter and had tickets for Court 1 on the second Thursday last year.

We didn't get any junior matches; we got mostly doubles, senior doubles including Bahrami, though because of rain delays we also got the last set of the Nadal match which had been rained off.

It all depends how keen you are. . .

If you don't get Centre Court the second week, you won't get any big names in singles unless it is the end of a delayed match. I much prefer to get tickets for the first week - not that that stopped me going! But then, I didn't have to call in any favours to get there. There are junior matches on the outside courts of course, but when you have shelled out for Court 1 tickets it seems a shame to leave them empty while you go elsewhere.

The second Thursday is mens quarter final day and womens semis day so you may get a singles match on Court 1 but as Madeline said it's unlikely to be the big names, you will get doubles though and they're always fun to watch. If you really enjoy watching tennis and don't mind too much who is playing then I suggest you go, you'll get some high quality stuff if not the names. If you're not too fussed about it then don't bother.

If you're unsure, try checking on the Wimbledon website where abouts your seats would be (if you know already) as that may influence your decision.

Thanks to you both for your input. I don't know where the seats would be, so I'm a bit wary of accepting tickets for not very good seats and possibly not very interesting matches.
Thats not to say that Juniors and Seniors ( that's what Wimby says is on offer) matches wont be good. But they do tend to be sectors that I imagine you need to follow regularly to get the most enjoyment from them.
If it was easy for me to get that particular day off work I'm sure I would have an enjoyable day regardless.
I'll hum and hah for another day or so, but I think this may be a no thank you.

Wow - with all the rain we've had, and the resulting backlog of matches, you should get some really great ones!

Oh I could have this so wrong, the OOP isn't up on the Wimby site but the BEEB says I get to see
Hewitt V Djokovic & Roddick V Gasquet.
Ooh I may have to have a small lie down and cool towel to the forehead - followed by large drink
and a bit of jumping round the living room going Yes Yes Yes !!!!!

Oh please don't tell me I've read it wrong
