glad to see them both qualify, hope they can get the wins and earn some points for their efforts. James has got what has to be the best draw pretty much ever, he should be able to win that match when you factor in that he's had match practise on the courts.

Brilliant results in qualies for both of them. Great to see Dan back in the futures, it's good to see him do well in junior tourneys but at the end of the day this is the stuff which really matters.
Dan's win over Boje is very impressive, especially to drop just 2 games. Slabba shouldn't have lost to Boje but even so he did so Boje's definately no mug ! I'm not sure why the Panda Bear says that Dan should win if he plays properly, his opponent is a very talented player who made the final of a 10K in Spain last week....it's going to be a tough one, Dan got outplayed 3 and 3 by the guy on grass last June, he's improved a heck of a lot since then but so has the other geezer
James must have gained a lot of confidence from taking a set off someone ranked 300ish last week and especially indoors !!! Hopefully he can have a good run this week, he's had some great results in 10Ks at times in the past year but they've been fairly sporadic, he's due another one. Perez-Perez is an interesting draw, they've played 3 times before. Perez-Perez won 6-3, 3-6, 6-1 at the end of 2005 but James gained his revenge a year on, winning 6-1, 6-2 on the way to reaching the latter stages of a 10K. However, unfortunately the Spaniard outclassed him 6-2, 6-3 a month later.
Given that Perez-Perez is ranked just 1 place higher at 853 its a pretty good draw but definately isn't an easy one Bethan.
