Nigel Sears said: “We have a good blend of experience and youth in the team and are looking forward to the challenge in Bulgaria. Fed Cup is becoming increasingly important as we strive to get more of our players competing in high level international events. It’s great to see Naomi Cavaday in the team for the first time and I’m sure she will relish the opportunity to play at this level.
Sears added: “Elena is fit and healthy and returning to form at just the right time and together with Anne I feel I have got three singles players I can rely on to give it their best shot. Having Claire as a doubles specialist will further strengthen the team.”
I saw the other countries in this group and if their best players play we might struggle, if we can match last years result or one further i would be over the moon.
