Daniel lost, which makes it 3 out of 3 A good day out of the office for Boggo

Today, Vik plays Cuevas in Napoli; Karanusic plays Faurel in St Brieuc and Roger- Vasselin plays Arazi, and if he wins either Junquera or Dolgoplolov.

Interesting aside: there was only 2 half games played in Fes yesterday before it was rained off. Probably a good thing as Tuesday saw FOUR retirements due to Gastro- enteritis: Mmm that great Moroccan food!!

4 retirements and a load of breadsticks probably gastronomically linked as well!

Another day of masterful inactivity by the Bogman: Vik and Roger- Vasselin were both knocked out. Karanusic, though, advanced to within 14 points

Karanusic can overtake if he reaches the final in St Brieuc. He plays Uebel in the QF today. Sa can overtake if he wins in Mexico, as could Delgado and Garcia.

So that's a worst case now of dropping another 2 places to 148

Unfortunately, Alex's luck couldn't last all week.  Karanusic didn't overtake, losing in the St Brieuc semi- final, to sit 4 points behind him.  However, Delgado was the one of the three Mexican threats to win the tournament and overtake. HE beat Garcia in the final, while Sa went out in the QF.

Boggo drops 1 on on the week, to end at 147.
