Of all tyrannies a tyranny exercised for the good of its victim may be the most oppressive.... those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience
Wow, that sea of comrie video is amazing.....that was one heck of a flood to get a sea like that !!!!
Have you got a pic of what the field was like before the flood ?
Rochelle, that vid is a little crazy, lol ! I get the 2nd half of it - he's eyeing up this girl and her bf beats him up (pretty good fake fight btw)....but I don't get the first half, how the 2 halves link up or what the overall meaning/point behind it is, if there is one
Maybe it was just sufficient to be able to make a video for the coursework, content didn't matter
In the first half he nicks a car to get money for coke
Shed, the last 20 seconds of that video show what the field is like without the water

It starts off showing him out for the count on the floor, then he sees another girl (?) and after a bit averts his eyes, then it flashbacks to explain how he ended up on the floor and why he no longer thinks it's a good idea to gawp.
You need to watch more French films, David.

Thanks guys, I get it now I've got a feeling why Rochelle sent the vid to me on msn and told me to watch it now Think it was after John and I started the "WTA photos" thread
Maybe not being able to hear the sound led to me misunderstanding it...the car and coke bit at the beginning kinda of threw me somehow, dunno what the relevance of that was to the general theme.
Lol, he still spends quite a while having a good look though, haha !
I've seen a few French films though evidently not enough...seen a number with Gerard Depardieu. What's the relevance steven ?

How M Depardieu gets away with being in so many films when he's such a bad actor, I've never known LOL but he doesn't tend to be in the kind of French films which flip around the timeline all over the place anyway. They can be quite annoying, I must admit, but it helps when you have to interpret something like that YouTube vid.
Which Depardieu films have you seen then?
