Seeing as what the cut for this actually was, is it a little surprising that Auckland isnt in the draw as well?

Surely he would be wanting to play this event, and there must have been some top 50 player in doubles without a partner as well for him to team up with?

Or... he could have played with Tim and made the draw that way?

Just surprised to see him not playing the big events when he has a chance of getting into them, and not going for a challenger at the same time... (unless he is injured???)

Yeah. I guess that he'll withdraw from there if they stay in the draw till Tuesday. Can't see him withdrawing from here.

What an experience this is for him!! Playing with a three time Slam champion is something that very few 17 year olds have managed.

It's very much possible that IMG gave the singles wild card to Kuerten on condition that he would play doubles with Kei.

Nishikori is an awesome doubles player - he won the Roland Garros Juniors title last year, so they may have an outside chance of winning.



It's a shame that Lipsky and Martin didn't get even one of the four wild cards in these two Masters.

Jamie and Butorac lose at the first stage.

Jamie threats Haggard and Lindstedt lose on Sunday. Threats Benneteau and Oli Rochus withdraw on Sunday.

Targets Skoch and Thomas advance places ahead of Jamie.

Coetzee can overtake Jamie by winning today, Stepanek can overtake Aucks by winning today.

Peya and Marach can go level on points with Jamie by winning the challenger tournament in Napoli this week.

Other Jamie threats in Miami this week - Goldstein can overtake by reaching the semis, Stepanek can overtake by reaching the final.
