GB F7 - Bath - 2007.

Jag won 2 & 0 against Carter then lost in a final set breaker to Miotto

Every single seed is through to third round except for Andy Kennaugh who lost to Tim Hewitt

Jagdev did well to give a top 1000 player a close match. But he can do better!

What a great show by Tim!

@ Tim Hewitt beating Kennaugh in straights ! Maybe all that time in South America working with the LTA coaches has brought his game on. Jack says he tends to produce his best when there's no pressure on and that would have been the case here...should qualify now

Nice comfy win for Slabba If he plays well and takes his chances he should beat Miotto. Miotto travels a lot with Seator, Kalaitzis, Allinson etc so Slabba should be able to get some tips from them.

Another close loss for Sagoo As with the Opama match last week, probably just a few pts in it...Miotto is top 1000 but has gained most of his pts in Africa.

Bamford has a 4-0 record v Irwin so should come through that one.

The most likely upset today is Brydan Klein against Matt Smith. Klein's only 17 and is the no 4 junior in the world. Hopefully Smith will have too much experience but yesterday's scorelines look onimous.

What did i say just a few days ago? Timmy Hewitt plays like Lleyton Hewitt when there's no pressure. Nuff said

Great wins for Rushby, Smith and Irwin...in particular Smith who had a tough draw...always good to see a Brit give an Aussie a good beating

but what happened to Slabba He shouldn't be losing to the likes of Miotto

So Evans didn't want to play just after returning...

Great win for Smith there.

Shame about Slabba and Hewitt. I thought that they would win.

Yes a shame about slabba

Top 4 in the draw are british so we are guaranteed a quater finalist

Does anybody know why Goodall isnt playing, i thought he was on the entry list?

Goodall sustained a groin injury in Sunderland, nothing major but he's just been resting it for the past 3 weeks. He returns next week in Bath

I don't understand why the LTA keeps handing wild cards to Hutchins even though he is clearly concentrating on doubles. Why not give it to Slabba, Sagoo or Hewitt instead?

Seator isn't a good option either.

Illingworth and Searle are good choices.
