such a shame there are always so few brits at these futures these days. the fact that their 15k's basically just means our players aren't highly ranked enough, and the better ones are just about highly ranked enough to play challengers!
clearly foreigners have cottoned on thats it a great chance of picking up points (whilst taking in some lovely english culture - bath's a lovely place imho!

Plus side is that it means that the guys like Bloomfield, Mackin, Baker, Goodall, Marray, Auckland who used to frequent these events, have now moved up to challengers (and in Aucks' case, ATPs).
Bad side is that it means there's no one coming through from lower down. Miles Kasiri is the best chance of the next Brit to crack top 300...Slabba and Chris Eaton have a good chance of making top 500.
After that, it's the likes of Simon Childs and the juniors. Dyce will hit the mens tour full time this autumn, will be interesting to see what his progress is like and Evans and the Coxy boy have looked promising in the futures they've played so far.
Forget the wildcards, where the likes of Baker and Goodall are this week, this is the question we really want to know the answer to !!!
He's been toying with the idea for a number of weeks now...finally there's a tournament which isn't a million miles from London, so will he, won't he ??
The directors don't pick the wildcards, that's done by the LTA performance coaches....Luke Milligan's doing that for this tourney, would you like me to drop him a text ?
Re. the poll - I asked Adam if he'd consider coming out of retirement to partner me, but when he found out I'd never had a ranking point, he refused, saying I wasn't good enough.
Apparently he's still waiting for Bloomers to call and ask him to partner him again, or for Queen's to call and offer him a WC ...
