Richard and Josh's Live Ranking Week 12


The new table is posted here (on britishtennis.net)

Richard plunges 9 places to 192, defending his GB F6 title from last year.  Josh gains 5 places as Fognini, Crivoi, Sabau Tsonga and Andreev drop behind him

Winning in France could get Richard up to 175 again. Loads of players lines up to overtake Josh

Yesterday, Warburg, Bastl and Dorsch were knocked out of Miami qualies, making them definite targets for Richard.  Odesnik won as did Sela behind him

In Rabat, #1 Richard threat Pashanski was knocked out, but Ascione won, and is now just 1 point behind Crivoi went out behind Josh. In Barletta, Istomin and Eitzinger were both knocked out, ahead of Josh, as was Vagnozzi behind him.

Today, Richard plays Benneteau (not that Benneteau) in France F5. Cipolla plays Alan threat Prpic and Andujar plays Gimeno-Traver in Barletta. Silva plays Cracian, and will overtake Josh if he wins  

In Miami, Sela plays Haase, Odesnik plays Delic.

Josh overtaken by Silva.  His ranking goes down to 212.

Richard won in France. Cipolla and Andujar  also won

In Miami, Sela and Odesnik lost

In Barletta, El Aynaoui won, ahead of Bloomers.


Tomorrow, Haehnel plays De Chaunac in Poitiers; Andujar plays Navarro Pastor in Barletta; Fognini plays Ruiz- Cadenas. 

In Australia, Jones plays Kelly; In Rabat, Junquera plays Guez. He'll overtake Josh if he wins

Josh overtaken by Junquera.  His ranking goes down to 213.

Haehnel, Ascione, Andujar and Silva lost  Tsonga  won in France and advances.  Jones won through to the QF in Australia, and is now level on points with Josh Gonzalez won in Rabat, and is now just 1 point behind.

Today, Richard plays Ouanna in France, and will overtake Ram if he wins.

In Barletta, Richard threat #1, El Aynaoui plays Ventura; target #1 Cipolla plays 3 seed Hernandez.  In Rabat, Junquera plays Patience and Gonzalez plays Jonny threat Klec, and will overtake Josh if he wins Tomorrow morning, in Australia, Jones plays Haybittel, and will also overtake Josh if he wins

Richard, Junquera, Gonzalez, El Aynaoui and Cipolla all lost.

Tomorrow morning, in Australia, Jones plays Haybittel, and will also overtake Josh if he wins; In Barletta, Fognini plays Eschauer to move to 2 points behind Bloomers. In Poiters, Tsonga plays Renavand, to draw level on points with Josh.

In Australia Jones beat Haybittel, and overtakes Josh  In Poiters, Tsonga beat Renavand, to draw level on points with Josh.

In Barletta, Fognini lost, so Richard is safe for the week.

Jones wins the Australian Futures, Tsonga wins the French Futures. His Saturday semi- final victory took him past Josh Josh down to 215 (down 1 on the week)

That's it for week 12.  Same time same place next week for Richard's adventures in Bath, and Josh's continued descent (probably).....
