She's got a Wednesday start.

Apart from the rd2 and quarter-final wins last week, most were very straightforward - 6-1, 6-1 or 6-1, 6-2 so hopefully fatigue won't be much of a problem. Naomi also worked really hard on her fitness in the off season and in between tournaments

The 2nd option would depend whether Rob, Bethan and Guy have enough time !

Brengle wouldn't be an easy match under normal circumstances, but Naomi is in the best form of her life. I'm confident of her taking this.

Surely there is no bar on the number of events a player can enter?

I think that maybe jamatthews meant that he miscalculated and in fact Naomi will be able to play all 3 events instead of just 2 as we initially thought. Naomi certaintly seems to be planning to play all 3.

As I said in my edit, the number events for each age group seems to have been increased by 2.

Naomi looking ahead to tomorrow's match:

"Drawing Brengle first round is definitely a tough match to prepare for. She has had a great start to the year and is a top junior. She is very quick and makes a lot of balls using her good defensive skills. She can also hit a winner from most areas of the court so she can be dangerous. She has a couple of weaknesses that I am going to try to expose and I am pleased that the courts are much faster here, as it suits my game and should help keep the match at my tempo. I am taking confidence from my win over her at wimbledon last year and I am looking forward to the match tomorrow."

Unfortunately there aren't any emails for the tournament directors up on the ITF so I can't find out until I hear from Naomi

Cavaday lost 5-7 6-3 6-2

Its unfortunate she lost, but it is difficult to play straight after a title win, she must have run out of energy. Good luck for next week!
