why can't we give a WC to, say, a frenchman and an aussie in return for one of theirs each?! am sure the aussies would agree to it, makes a lot of sense!

some pretty random doubles partnerships there! At least all those wildcards have gone to Brits which will help out the bank balances a bit.
Much as it pains me to say it Cilic and Tsonga deserve those last two wildcards. and anyway that list has more brits in it than in recent years so I don't think we can complain that much. Plus, finally Philippoussis hasn't been given one

I don't think there's any way on earth you can deny Tsonga one. All in all, I'm pretty happy with those and pretty happy with the way the WCs have panned out over the whole grass court season.

Yeah it's been pretty good actually....we're always a bit peeved when any wcs go to foreigners but at least more wcs have gone to Brits than last yr. 3/5 at Queens, 3/3 at Nottingham and 5/8 at Wimbledon is really good.
The only Wimbledon wc I'm disappointed about is Cilic...do we really need to give him more grass practise
