Hope you guys dont mind me posting this press release about an American college tennis match this weekend. Not sure if the time frame works for you boys/girls to watch, but should be great tennis. Unfortunately I won't be able to assist the other Craig in the match, but hopefully within the calendar year, we will cover some challenger tournies in the states like we did at our Dallas challenger.

I know this college match wont interest you guys much, but Baylor has produced a few very talented players in the recent years(Dorsch, Becker). Thanks again for letting me get the word out on here. The more people we can get to view our work, the better chance we have to start working challenger/future tournies.
Panda Bear, most of the top ranked college teams on the mens side are ruled by non US players. I'll post a link to the top mens and womens ind. rankings. The University of Georgia is ranked #1 in both mens and womens as of right now.
to answer your question, jesse levine(florida) has had some recent success as an amateur on the circuit so far this year. i really like the #1 player in the rankings from Georgia. I believe he will have a very nice pro career. The year the University of Illinois went undefeated and won the National title, they had these players on that team.(Amer Delic, Rajeev Ram, Brian Wilson and Ryler DeHeart). All players playing on tour.

Why do US colleges offer so many scholarships to 'outsiders' such as UK? I can't imagine any colleges here offering scholarships. (Even to British players!)

The only one that immediately sprang to mind was Ken Skupski (Junior doubles champ with Richard), who has been there for a few years now. But there are a some more Brits if you look at the links posted above and http://www.collegetennisonline.com/view/rankings.aspx?pType=S&lgId=1 but what I really meant was if you look at that list there seems to be as many foreign players involved as Americans! I am also aware that places may have been offered to some Brits that were declined.
