Jade Windley

and Fitzpatrick and Broady would have been top 100 if they'd played juniors regularly

Fitzpatrick wouldn't. She can't get results at Junior level for some reason. confused.gif

For that matter, I think that Junior wild cards should only go to players who are ready to tour, unless they are someone exceptionally good. Otherwise it's harsh on people who travel across the world in search of points.

A nice read: Jade's blog which shows what she's up to now, and gives some insight on her previous career:

Good luck, Jade, and all the best - great work ethic, really made the most of her strengths, great role model.

Thanks CD. I hadn't realised that she had retired. I met her a few times and I must say she was lovely. I wish her all the best.

Jade's doubles partner Anna Fitzpatrick also seems to stopped playing at about the same time. Does anyone know what she is doing now? I watched them at one of their last tournaments, Bournemouth 2013, when Jade won the singles and Jade and Anna won the doubles.

Anna F was studying at Uni - , hence why she stopped playing, not sure if she still is or not.
