Jade's one of our best teenage prospects, ranked no 5 in the U18s behind Cavaday, Cornish, Broady and Rae.

Some more information on her:

She splits her training time between the Woodhall Spa club in Lincolnshire where she works with long-time coach David Williams, and the Esporta Sunderland club where she began training with Guy Galpin last September.

She will turn pro in the summer after she's completed her AS levels. Her short-term goal is to play at Wimbledon, she's hoping to get more junior ranking up high enough to secure a direct entry.

This year she's going to play a mixture of juniors and womens events and then play mainly womens events next year.

After Sunderland, she'll also be competing in the two 10Ks in Bath.

i only look a recent posts dotn pay attention to forum, you seem to only postyjoke yhread with titles like this. so i thought it wa s a joke about Jade, you shoudl maybe clarify your title threads by adding and extra bit toit, cause to be quite honest i am busy at work at the moment so wasintg my time reading threads which dont have a high level of inetrest to me can turn into a slight annoyance, then i get even annoyed by the fact that i am wwriting a logn reply, with minmal punctuation and even worse spelling and realise even less work is being done

Jade came officially into the rankings today at 1089. Takes time for those 10K results....

Jade lost the G5 final in Malta...
Ksenia KIRILOVA (RUS) defeated Jade WINDLEY (GBR) (2) 63 64

Hope she isn't too tired for the Bath qualies today. Malta-UK isn't such a stretch, but she has played a lot of games.
