Vamos08 on the Andy Murray official site received an email from the tournament director saying that Boggo beat Jenkins 6-2, 6-1. He will play Vemic in round 2 of qualies.

Grrr beat me again Arka!!!

Aside, If you're doing a live ranking thread for Jamie's ranking on Andy's site be aware that Haggard and Wassen got into the draw as alts, replacing Fish and Goldstein and promptly beat Aspelin and Kohlmann this evening.

Thanks for that, Guy. Didn't know it.

Why do you read it as a guest all the time instead of logging in?

Haha, that's okay - thank you.

We should mail them and ask them to send us Alex's score when he plays Vemic tomorrow. Seems like the person answering is a nice guy!

De Voest is out and someone on MTF said that Capdeville is out. Great chance for Alex!

Tell them you run Alex's official site, that'll make a response a lot more likely.

"Official" and "LTA affiliated" seems to be a magic words, once I mention them, there is an immediate marked change in the manner of otherwise snooty and unhelpful ppl at some British tournament offices

Great win for Boggo there, and he continues this run of good form, and with De Voest losing and Capdeville pulling out the draw has really opened up for him, and he really should qualify now

If the reports of a 2 and 1 win are true, then it makes the loss to Dlouhy even harder to understand...
