I fear we can say goodbye to Alex. Surely he must be injured or something? Such a turnaround in scoring is really weird.

It's not that I want Alex to be injured but I would rather that be the explanation for this total collapse than just poor play and concentration. For 45 minutes he was in this match and the last 25 have been shocking.

Yeah must be some injury, maybe affecting his movement ?    He wouldn't be getting caned this badly on his serve if things were normal. Alex isn 't the type to retire injured, he tends to try and struggle on

i know, i hate the way he srruggles on, yed it won him bergamo when he was injured. but it cant hurt him more, like in the dc tie.

He only won 1 of the first 16 points in this set. There must be something badly wrong, but if there is, why play on and make it worse when you've got no chance of winning?

He also played challengers in Cardiff and Lanzarote with an injury at the end of last April and as a result had to miss the entire run-up to RG qualies on the clay.
