That Henman Hewitt match last year turned on those calls which Hawkeye would have awarded to Henman. He knows its true as he kept looking up to the commentary box who were confirming he was right, but the umpires couldn't overrule.
As I said earlier, Henman, and Murray seem very good at judging the lines, and I tihnk this will really benefit them.
My one criticism is that I tihnk if its on centre court it should be on all the courts. I know that as long as its the same for both players in the same match, then its fair, but imagine if you know you lost to a dodgy line call on court 1 because it rained and your match was switched form centre where you could have proved the line call wrong and won the match!
Totally seeing your point on that, but I guess we'll have to wait for the price to come down a fair bit, yet - it's still a couple of hundred thousand dollars per court I think.
Plus I think at the moment the cameras need to be suspended high up, which is a problem for smaller courts.
Have to say I'm totally in favour of it. Even if it's not 100% accurate, by using it in high profile tournaments any errors it makes will be scrutinised, and the drive to improve it's accuracy will be brought about faster... in my opinion.
